My heart are you as large enough
as my beloved be?
She smiles embracing all the earth,
and every lake and sea;
She utters all warmth when she blooms,
& turns her eyes towards me;
My brightest futures looms,
That which her laughs foresee.
My dearest is larger than Life,
Larger than all the laughs and tears,
My dearest is larger than Life,
Larger than all my hopes or fears…
My heart are you as large enough
to Love the beloved of me?
She whispers Life into my soul
until she sets me free;
She utters Life when she speaks,
Painting Love when Life’s no fun,
With a stroke of a smile from cheek to cheek;
Holding her hand, I held the sun…
My dearest is larger than Life,
Larger than all the months or years
My dearest is larger than Life,
