I am not one confounded by the dark,
I rest my head on each unpaved street,
I am my soul’s temple, my spirit’s ark…
I circle Life, whirling ethereal arc,
Unendingly I wander… so willingly proceed;
For I’m not one confounded by the dark…
My blood does flow in Awe as I embark,
& pump eternities of prayers in every beat,
I am my soul’s temple, my spirit’s ark…
I rein my demons as they roar & bark,
& bear their dreadful wails under my feet,
For I’m not one confounded by the dark…
I lead unyielding grace in cheer so stark,
& caress all the restless lives in every deed,
I am my soul’s temple, my spirit’s ark…
Eternities of stars down to each quark,
I embrace deep within; As each I greet;
I am not one confounded by the dark,
I am my soul’s temple, my spirit’s ark…
